How ProofBeer integrations work
ProofBeer connects to your world in three ways. Website platforms: you paste one embed snippet into an HTML or code block. Review platforms: you connect an account and reviews sync into your dashboard and widgets. Automation tools: when someone submits a form, ProofBeer sends the data to Slack, Google Sheets, Zapier or your own server by webhook.
Website platforms
Shopify: Custom Liquid or HTML section for product pages and testimonials pages. WooCommerce: Custom HTML blocks and theme hooks for product, cart and shop pages. WordPress: Custom HTML block, no plugin. Webflow: Embed element or custom code. Wix: Embed HTML element. Squarespace: Code block (plan permitting). Framer: Embed component or custom code. Kajabi: Custom code block for landing and sales pages.
Automation tools
Slack: real-time alerts for new responses and ratings. Google Sheets: every response as a spreadsheet row, via a service account. Zapier: a Catch Hook webhook that triggers workflows across thousands of apps. Webhooks: signed JSON payloads to your own endpoint, with retries.
Social media
Connect Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts to pull reviews and tagged posts into the same widgets. Facebook recommendations and Instagram media are different things, so read the social media page before connecting.

How to choose between integrations
Start from the place where you want the result to appear. If you want proof on your website, choose your website platform guide. If you want existing public reviews on your site, choose a review platform. If you want your team notified or your data moved, choose an automation tool.
Most sites need three things: one embed on a page, one review source and one alert. A typical small business connects WordPress or Wix, Google Business Profile and Slack. A typical online store connects Shopify or WooCommerce, Google and Facebook and Google Sheets. A typical agency connects each client's website platform, their review sources and a shared Sheet for reporting.
Security of connections
Review platforms connect with permissions you approve, and you can disconnect them at any time. Automation tools use a URL, a service account or a signing secret that you control. Treat these like passwords: store them securely, share them only with people who need them and replace them if they leak. How do I connect Google reviews to ProofBeer?
Connect your Google Business Profile with OAuth from the integrations area of your dashboard. Reviews then sync into ProofBeer and can be shown in any widget with filters for rating and date. The Google integration page covers setup, multi-location tips and fixes if reviews do not appear.
Do I need a plugin to use ProofBeer on my site?
No plugin is needed. You paste one embed snippet into an HTML, embed or custom code block, and it works on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, Kajabi, WooCommerce and any site that allows custom HTML. Setup guides explain each platform.
Can I build a custom integration?
Yes. Webhooks send form submissions as JSON to your endpoint with signature verification and retries, and Advanced plans include full API access. Developers can use these to push feedback into internal tools, CRMs or data warehouses. See the webhooks page and the help center for details.
